The devil is happy if people are comfortable, because they won’t move. Comfort is a cage and God will move us out of comfort. Psalm 100:4 tells us to give thanks “in it” not “for it”. 

Psalm 100:4 KJV Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, And into his courts with praise: Be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
