Break Down the Yoke, Jennifer Widmer

anointing

Jennifer teaches us that anger comes from hurt and we don’t have to embrace the things that hurt us.  Trauma happens, which is out of our control. We can be empathetic and gentle, without accepting the trauma. God anoints us to bring healing and freedom, so trauma doesn’t need to be a part of our identity. Break the bonds of the world by forgiving those that hurt us, without accepting the hurt or hurtful behavior. Use the five Rs, 1.) Recognize Trauma, 2.) Confess, 3.) Repent, and 5.) Release Forgiveness
