Many times we look at the move of the Holy Spirit in the church and think that it should look exactly like that out in the world. Instead, we come together in the church to experience His presence and then translate it to the world. The world needs the power of the Holy Spirit working through each one of us to bring God’s kingdom on earth. What does that look like for you?

Scriptures used:

Acts 2 When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one  place. And suddenly there came from  heaven a noise like a violent rushing wind, and it filled the whole house where  they were sitting. And there  appeared to them tongues as of fire distributing themselves, and they rested on  each one of them. And they were all  filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit  was giving them utterance…

2 Corinthians 3:2-6 2 You are our letter, written in our hearts, known and read by all  men; 3 being manifested that you are  a letter of Christ, cared for by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of  the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts. 4 Such confidence we have  through Christ toward God. 5 Not that  we are adequate in ourselves to consider anything as coming from  ourselves, but our adequacy is from God, 6  who also made us adequate as servants of a new covenant,  not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives  life.

2 Corinthians 4:7  But  we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the surpassing greatness of  the power will be of God and not from ourselves;

1 Corinthians 12:4-7 4  Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit.  5 And there are varieties of  ministries, and the same Lord. 6  There are varieties of effects, but the same God who works all  things in all persons. 7 But  to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.

Romans 12:1-2 1 Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present  your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your  spiritual service of worship. 2 And  do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your  mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and  acceptable and perfect.
