The Purpose of the Armor, by Fred Garcia
Philippians 1:29 29 For to you it has been granted for Christ's sake, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake...
I started asking Him, what does it really mean to suffer for You???
And the Lord said, “Suffering, at least in part, is what you experience as you step into the reality of the Kingdom…”
Philippians 1:27-30 (NASB) 27 Only conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or remain absent, I will hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel; 28 in no way alarmed by your opponents--which is a sign of destruction for them, but of salvation for you, and that too, from God. 29 For to you it has been granted for Christ's sake, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake, 30 experiencing the same conflict which you saw in me, and now hear to be in me.
Yes, people cooperate with dark, demonic forces but in may cases people feel trapped and don’t know how to get free…When you recognize the spiritual reality of what’s going on around you, you suffer…you experience pain, it grieves you…when you see the reality of people being trapped and enslaved by the kingdom of darkness it should pierce your soul. Vs 27…it’s the goal of unity, the revelation that relationships are disjointed and suffering oppression because they don’t see from heavenly places…this is why we suffer….if we are suffering, we’re seeing…if we’re seeing, and suffering we are compelled to share the gospel so that others will be set free as well…However, look at vs 30, go back to 29…
